Featuring three of our chosen resorts, the five star beach-front Gran Meliá Don Pepe, the established luxury of the stunning Marbella Club Hotel Golf Resort & Spa and the much-loved Puente Romano Hotel, Marbella offers 26 kilometres of beautiful coastline, with a succession of sun-drenched beaches fringed by modern hotels, residential complexes, shops and restaurants. Within Marbella glitters Puerto Banús, an incredibly upmarket marina that draws jet-setters from all over the world, and is a must-see for its superyachts, supercars, glamorous socialites, plus bars, restaurants and shops.
Marbella is a paradise for golf lovers, with at least a dozen courses – and it also has several riding schools, tennis clubs and other sporting facilities. The historic part of Marbella contains pretty whitewashed houses, with fragrant orange trees adorning the streets and squares. The heart of the old town is Plaza de Los Naranjos, dating from the Renaissance period and flanked by the 16th century City Hall, now a lovely focal point of the old town with delightful cafes and restaurants spilling out onto the Square. Neighbouring Estepona is a lovely coastal area with over 20 km of beaches, here you'll find the superb Kempinski Bahia Marbella- Estepona resort. If you enjoy relaxing by the sea, La Rada is a fine beach near Estepona's beautiful marina and close to the old town.
