Welcome to Sagres
Sagres is a small Portuguese town possibly made famous as the name of a delicious Portuguese beer brewed in Vialonga, Portugal. Featuring a mix of surfers who come here to ride the waves, to local fishermen and tourists eager to discover the history of the Portuguese Discoveries including the Fortaleza which dates back to the 15th century, sitting proudly atop the cliffs.
From here you can access the church of Nossa Senhora de Graca or venture onwards up the coast to Cape St Vincent. Sagres itself is noted for its range of eateries both contemporary and more traditional whilst the surrounding area is adorned with a variety of beaches where water sports are popular. Sunsets in Sagres will take your breath away!
